You

so perfectly you glitter

you flatter me - i giggle

seeing myself in your reflection

the lights dancing

to be made of you, salt, skins & liquid sunshine

it humbles me

as you keep on waving & washing

away our footprints

that we so carelessly leave on the wet sand

you are what obtains us

you are what sustains us

I shiver, my cells buzz

as you wash in closer

raising your voice

sometimes what seperates you is also what’s keeping you together

the air whispers,

the wind encapsulates my skin

as i barely notice it thickening

you keep on glittering.
